A fantastic all-original 1976 Fender Jazz Bass in superb condition, complete with its original Fender hard case.
Natural finish with black guard, this classic CBS-era Jazz Bass features an ash body, with a one-piece maple neck and maple fingerboard, and 3-bolt neck plate. The serial number and pot codes both come back as 1976 manufacture date.
Remarkably well-preserved, the bass is all original, including both pickup covers. There are a few tiny marks on the body (see last 4 pictures) but this is one of the cleanest mid-70s Fender bass guitars we have seen in the shop – and it is still delivering the bright, punchy and articulate tone that has made these basses so popular for the last 7 decades.
