A fantastic all-original 1976 Fender Jazz Bass in really good condition.
Natural finish with white guard, this classic CBS-era Jazz Bass features an ash body, with a one-piece maple neck and maple fingerboard, and 3-bolt neck plate. The serial number and pot codes both come back as 1976 manufacture date.
Remarkably well-preserved, the bass is all original (with the exception of the bridge pickup being rewound), including both pickup covers. There are a few small marks on the body, and some discolouration to the finish of the neck (see last 6 pictures) but this is great example of a mid-70s Fender bass guitar This finish has gone almost orange over the years with the original shade still visible under the scratch plate. The bass has had a different bridge fitted at some point in the past – you can see a slightly different shade to the finish around the bridge where the larger bridge was fitted, along with some filled screw holes.
The bass comes complete with a hard case (not original).
