Product Details

An original Telecaster master still going strong (despite recent internet hoax claims), James Burton influenced generations of rock guitar royalty with his perfectly phrased late-'50s/early-'60s Telecaster work with Ricky Nelson, and his later stints with Elvis Presley, Emmylou Harris, Elvis Costello and many others. His was the first signature Telecaster model in 1991, based on his workhorse ’53 Tele. This 3 pickup Telecaster Signature model was first produced in 1996 and is still being produced by Fender to this day.

This mint condition 2004 example is in a rare Pearl White finish which looks great with the gold hardware. The highlights include vintage-style "U"-shaped neck profile; three specially designed James Burton lace sensor noiseless pickups; five-way "Strat-o-Tele" pickup switch and Vintage-style strings-thru-body hardtail bridge. The guitar was bought new by a collector and kept in its case since then – that means we have no wear on the frets or Maple fretboard – it truly is mint condition and comes complete with its original Fender tweed hard case, Fender strap, cable and case candy.
