Since its inception in 1951, the Precision Bass has gone through many transformations, but the qualities that made the Precision Bass great in the '50s and '60s remain gloriously intact in the American Series models: unmistakable tone, toughness and playability.
This 2005 American Precision Bass has the classic 3-Colour Sunburst finish with a 3 ply parchment scratch plate, and a vintage body radius and contour which gives it that classic Fender vibe and feel. Featuring a premium alder body for better tone and sustain, maple fretboard with detailed fret work and rolled edges, and the classic split-coil Precision Bass pickup. This model also features the Fender S1 switch on the volume control which allows you to switch between parallel and series on the pickups. Despite being 21 years old this bass is in great condition with only a small nick in the headstock and a crack in the lacquer at the top of the neck pocket to show for its years. The bass comes complete with original moulded Fender hard case and all the original hang tags.
