The Gibson ES-339 electric guitar draws from a multitude of sources to comprise its build: a shape similar to that of the ES-335, but with a smaller body size, closer to that of a Les Paul. The ES-339 was designed to offer the fuller sound of a semi-hollow but with the comfort and playability of a solidbody guitar. Sometimes called the Gibson Memphis ES-339, this semi-hollow electric guitar was built in Gibson's Memphis Custom Shop and actually sports Gibson's Memphis Tone Circuit, making the moniker particularly apt. From the first run of these guitar this ES-339 features '57 Classic pickups. The guitar has a really nice finish to the body with its Antique Red Cherry finish. The lovely Rosewood fretboard has dot inlays and is in great condition, as are the frets with only a tiny amount of visible wear on the b string across first 3 frets. The body does have some very light marks and some pick marks (too light to capture on pictures), but as can be seen the guitar is in excellent condition. Comes complete with original Gibson hard case and COA.
