Widely regarded as one of the most recognisable and iconic acoustic guitars of all time, the Hummingbird was Gibson’s take on the famed square-shouldered dreadnought acoustic guitar. It is instantly recognisable thanks to its elaborate and beautifully detailed Hummingbird motif pickguard. Known for its unmistakable projection and rich harmonic detail the Hummingbird has remained one of the most popular Gibson acoustic models and has featured in just about every genre of music.
This 2010 Hummingbird has a Heritage Cherry Sunburst finish,on the classic wood combination of a solid Sitka Spruce top and solid Mahogany back and sides. The guitar comes complete with its original Grover tuners, Gibson hard case and is equipped with its factory fitted LR Baggs pickup for easy and uncompromised amplification.
The guitar is in good condition with frets and fretboard in great condition. There is a small mark to the bass side of the top and a small section of lifting to the scratch plate (see last 2 pictures). The guitar is setup with a new set of 12s and is great to play with nice action.
