Seth Baccus is a UK based boutique guitar maker who set his workshop in Cornwall in 2018. His guitars are high end and extremely sought after. This offset beauty is a 2023 Argonaut Classic in Aged Ocean Jade Metallic finish. This exact guitar was reviewed in Guitarist Magazine (November 2023), receiving a 10/10 gold award, and recognized it as a standout in the Gear Of The Year awards for the Prestige Electric Guitar category.
The Argonaut was inspired by the offset vibes of the 60s with the attitude of 90s alt-rock. The 1-piece lightweight Obeche body is very responsive, and balances just as well on a strap or sat on the lap. The beautiful Canadian Roasted Sugar Maple neck has a comfortable C profile with a AAA Indian Rosewood fretboard on a 25.5” scale. The pickups are the superb MojoPickups dual coil gold foil humbuckers with push/pull controls to split each humbucker.
The guitar does have one small mark to the edge of the body, however with the nice aged finish you don’t really notice it (see last picture). The guitar comes complete with its original hard case.
