Product Details

The Gibson ES-150DC was a significant addition to Gibson's electric guitar line-up, introduced in 1969 and discontinued in 1975. It is a double-cutaway, hollow-body guitar with a 3-inch deep body, featuring twin humbucking pickups, a master volume control, and a unique double Venetian cutaway design. The ES-150DC shares many features with the ES-335, but has a thicker 3" deep, fully-hollow, body. With only a total of 2,427 made by Gibson during its production run the ES-150DC is much a sought-after vintage guitar among guitar players and collectors.

This 1974 Natural finished model is in superb, all original, condition with only a few very light, and tiny, dings/marks to show for its 52+ years of play (too small to capture on a picture). The frets and Rosewood fretboard are in great condition with no real visible wear on the frets – the lack of fret nibs leads us to believe that the guitar has had a partial refret at some point in its past (the top 5 or 6 frets still have the tiny fret nibs). The guitar comes complete with a lovely Stagg green tweed hard case.
