This 1980s Fender Newporter is a great example of a Korean made Fender acoustic, with the vintage style of the original 1960s models. Made in Japan from ’82 to ’86, and Korea from ’86 to ’92.
Constructed from a Mahogany top with Mahogany back and sides, the Newporter is Fender's typical dreadnought body acoustic guitar, with the very cool looking Stratocaster style headstock. The all Mahogany construction gives great deal of bass response and warmth to the tone, without losing volume. The guitar is in really good condition with only a few tiny marks to the top and sides to show for its near 40 years of age (too small to pick up on pictures) – comes complete with a brand new Fender padded gig bag.
