1996 Gibson Les Paul Standard in fantastic, 100% original condition. From a desirable period for Gibson the guitar features a pair of 490R/498T humbuckers and a classic Cherry Sunburst nitro lacquer finish.
The 490R and 498T humbuckers offer wide tone options, with the Alnico II magnets in the neck pickup giving more chime and warmth, while the Alnico V bridge pickup has that bite and snarl that you associate with the classic Gibson roar. And the mahogany body and maple chap have a really nice resonance that you only get from the best tonewoods. Despite being 30 years old the guitar looks in near mint condition with only some light play wear and some small marks to the neck so show for its years (see last 2 pictures). The guitar comes complete with its original Gibson tan hard case
