First produced in 1998 this Gibson Les Paul was part of the first run of Double Cutaway Standards. These guitars feature a 1-piece solid mahogany body with AAA flamed maple top, Slim '60s profile Mahogany neck, two knob control setup, 24 frets, 490R/498T humbuckers and gold plated hardware. The model was renamed to the Les Paul Standard Lite in 1999.
This 1998 Green Jalapeno finished model is in near mint condition having been purchased directly from Rossetti by a UK collector. This guitar has never been on sale, or displayed on a shop floor and has only some very slight tarnishing to the the Grover tuners from its time in storage over the past 20 years. The guitar comes complete with its original Tan Gibson hard case and Gibson USA spec card.
These rarely come up for sale, especially in the UK, and it is time that this rare and stunning looking Les Paul was played.
