Since its inception in 1951, the Precision Bass has gone through many transformations, but the qualities that made the Precision Bass great in the '50s and '60s remain gloriously intact: unmistakable tone, toughness and playability.
This 2001 Mexican made Precision Bass guitar features a comfort-contoured alder body, maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard, a single split-coil, hum-cancelling pickup and knurled chrome American Precision Bass knobs. The refinements of this period include medium jumbo frets and a shielded body cavity for quieter operation. The Metallic Sage Green finish really does look super cool on this bass.
Despite being nearly 25 years old the bass is in great condition with only 1 small ding, and a very light scratch to the edge of the body to show for its age (see last 2 pictures) – frets and fretboard are in great condition - comes complete with brand new Fender padded gig bag.
