The Yamaha RBX-170 is the basic model of the RBX line of basses made by Yamaha. This model also carries the title of the most sold RBX model around the world. Modern double-cut design, high quality of build and more than a decent tone have been enough to carve the path towards success for RBX-170.
This 2001 Old Violin Sunburst finish model has the classic appointments of a 34" scale, bolt-on neck construction and passive, but versatile pickups. Body is Agathis, while the bolt on Maple neck is fitted with a 24-fret Rosewood fretboard. The pickups in are installed in the classic J/P pattern with 2 volume controls and a master tone control. The bass is in great condition with only some light polish swirl marks stopping as marking this one as mint. The fretboard and frets are in great condition with virtually no visible wear on the frets. The bass has been setup with nice low action and comes complete with a brand new TGI Transit gig bag. A great first bass or quality back up bass.
