This brand new electro acoustic is a rare model from Faith with only 4 of these built at most - this was the prequel to a model made exclusively for PMT. It features an all solid Trembesi body with a Honey Stain top. Indigenous to the Indonesian island of Java and growing freely amongst the (commercially maintained) timber plantations, Trembesi has an appearance not unlike Hawaiian Koa. The pronounced vertical grains of the wood have been beautifully brought to life with a light-brown Honey Stain.
The Venus is one of the 3 original Faith body shapes, striking the ideal balance of size and sound. Thanks to its 15" lower bout and shallower body, the Venus is comfortable to play for long periods yet doesn’t sacrifice tone or acoustic power. This Naked Venus is equipped with a Fishman Presys 1 preamp system and an under saddle piezo pickup strip. This elegant solution is super easy to use, with an easy to read built-in tuner, an EQ contour control, phase switch (to control any feedback on stage), and a volume knob. The output jack is integrated into the strap button on the base of the guitar, with the battery compartment located separately for easy access. The guitar comes complete with a Faith padded gig bag.
