The Hofner Senator was the "working man's" mid-range offering from Hofner in the '50s and 60's. Bound body and F-holes, and triple dot markers on the rosewood fretboard - This lovely blonde finished Senator is from 1964 (serial number 1306) and has a lovely flame maple to the back and sides. The guitar is all original, including the original tuners, Rosewood bridge and compensator tail piece.
The guitar is in great shape with only a small mark on the back of the body to show for its 61+ years (see last picture). The neck has been reset, and frets levelled, so action is perfect and the guitar is good to go on for another 50+ years - Slung with a new set of 12s.
There is no case with this guitar but you can add a brand new Hofner Archtop case for only £99 (normal price £128).
