Product Details

You don't see too many of these - Custom colour 1999 Gibson SJ-200.

Enormous in both size and tone, the Gibson J-200 is most noticeable due to its various aesthetic oddities, from a moustache bridge to its pineapple-style inlays. Its fashionable looks and giant sound brought it to the attention of players like Pete Townshend and Elvis Presley. Undoubtedly one of Gibson's most iconic, recognized acoustic guitars, the Jumbo flattop Gibson J-200 acoustic guitar is often known as "The King of Flattops.

In line with most SJ-200 models this one has maple back and sides, finished with its rare and striking custom green colour, aged cream bindings and gold vintage style Kluson machine heads. Gibson did a limited edition run of a similar green coloured SJ-200 in 2017, however this beautiful guitar is from 18 years earlier. Comes complete with original Gibson Acoustics hard case.

The guitar is in really good condition with only 3 small marks to the top to show for its 25+ years - see last 3 pictures
