This beautiful acoustic is a 1999 Taylor 814-BCE 25th Anniversary – a limited production model celebrating Taylor’s 25 years in the guitar building business. It is a Grand Auditorium model built with a Sitka spruce top and coveted Brazilian Rosewood for the back and sides (and matching headstock overlay). The wood adds not just looks, but warmth and added overtones to the sound of the guitar. Other specs include an ebony fretboard, abalone rosette, body binding, gold Grover tuners, and Fishman PreFix blender electronics to supply the electric sound - Everything you want in a Master Grade guitar - Premium woods, quality craftsmanship, excellent pickup, and premium inlays.
The guitar is in excellent condition and has clearly been well cared for over its 26 years. There is one tiny mark on the top (see last picture) and there is some tarnishing to the gold finish on the tuner buttons – comes complete with original Taylor hard case.
