The 2005 Fender Standard Jazz Bass incorporated many Fender "firsts," such as the offset-waist alder body and ultra slim fast-action neck. The Standard features medium jumbo frets for a more modern feel, a shielded body cavity for quieter operation. Updated with two bi-pole pickups and American Jazz Bass knobs.
This 2005 model is finished in the Blue Agave which looks fantastic. The paint/lacquer has cracked on the inside of the horns (see last 2 pictures) which is common to see on Fender bass guitars from this period – other than that the guitar is near mint condition - the Rosewood fretboard and frets are in great condition with no real visible wear to report. The bass comes complete with a Fender padded gig bag.
