Following in the footsteps of its predecessor, the Rickenbacker 4003 bass guitar offers updates to the 4001 just as the 4001 upgraded the 4000. Though the 4001 went out of production in the '80s, the 4003 lived on to become Rickenbacker’s most popular bass model collecting a number of famous fans, including Geddy Lee, Chris Squire, Paul McCartney, and more.
This 2012 Rickenbacker 4003 is in the classic Fireglo finish. The bass is in fantastic near mint condition. The Rosewood fretboard and frets are in great condition – the bass comes complete with a generic black rectangular hard case and original pickup cover that has never been fitted to the bass. Weighs in at 4.3kg (because someone always asks).
These basses are still very sought after and don’t stay in our Bass Room too long.
