2018 Fender American Elite Telecaster with Ebony Fingerboard and Aged Cherry Burst.
We do love a bound Telecaster and this Elite model is stunning looking. The Cherry Burst finish looks great, especially combined with the 3 ply black scratch plate – the scratch plate is the only alteration to the guitar and the original 3-ply Pearloid scratch plate is included in the case. The guitar is in great condition but does have 2 small marks - one on the neck and the other on the treble edge of the body (see last 2 pictures).
The Fender American Elite Telecaster rises to the challenge of improving upon one of the most legendary instruments ever produced with an array of appointments and features made for the modern guitarist. Starting off with a pair of new fourth generation noiseless single coil Telecaster pickups, this innovative model also includes an S-1 switching system, compound profile neck, and lockable short-post tuning machines for the ultimate Telecaster. And the neck is so easy to play: a modern “C”-shape at the nut, the profile morphs along the length of the neck to a modern “D”-shaped profile at the updated neck heel, providing plenty of comfortable support.
Freshly setup with a new set of Regular Slinkys (10s), the guitar comes complete with its original Fender Elite Moulded Case (with TSA locks for increased protection) and Certificate of Authenticity and inspection tag.
