Starting in 1990 the Patrick Eggle company produced a range of guitars starting with a design based upon one of Patrick’s early (pre-PEG) models, the Climaxe — this new model was named Berlin.
This is a unique Custom Shop example of Patrick Eggle's flagship model, the Berlin Pro - it features many of the Berlin's standard appointments: Mahogany body with beautifully carved maple top; mahogany set neck with an ebony fretboard featuring 22 frets; Sperzel locking tuners; volume control, and 3 way pickup selector
The Pro specification includes a 3 way rotary selector offering humbucking, split coil and 'twintone' settings – combined with the 3 way pickup selector this really does give a great variety of tone. The wrap-around bridge on this custom shop model is a stunning piece of engineering all on its own.
Then there is the colour – the whole guitar is finished in a stunning gloss yellow – looks amazing on the “German carve” top – comes complete with Patrick Eggle embossed luxury fitted case
