These Spirit by Steinberger headless double necks were built in late 90s/early 2000s in limited numbers so a rare guitar(s) indeed. This model is all original and in great condition – comes complete with original purpose made Spirit by Steinberger padded gig bag and original tremolo arm
The Spirit by Steinberger line are all-wood copies of the original Steinberger models .Designed as economy versions of their graphite counterparts, they offer some of the same benefits of the original line (headless necks, double ball tuning) at entry level prices.
Both necks feature the patented Steinberger tuning system with the guitar tremolo having locking mechanism to be a hard tail. Both have passive EMG select pickups and dual "smart" 1/4 outputs to allow routing of bass and guitar out of one output or separately.
The scale length of the bass is 34", with the 24 fret guitar neck scale at 25.5 ".
Controls: You have a 3-way toggle switch to select bass or guitar or both. For the guitar you have a volume control and 5-way blade pickup selector along with master tone. For the bass controls you have a volume and pickup selector/balance knob.
The build quality is really good and the whole instrument is great fun to play. Set up and ready to play, with new set of guitar strings - the bass ones will last a bit longer…….
