Wet Wet Wet's GRAEME DUFFIN - Gullane Village Hall - 28th November 2026

A very special one-off gig! Graeme Duffin has put together a truly stellar quartet for the Gullane Village Hall gig on Saturday 28th November featuring Paul Harrison (piano) Stu Brown (drums) and Mario Caribe (double bass). This evening of beautiful Soul and Jazz promises to be a truly memorable occasion!

Graeme is best known for his 40 year career with the internationally successful Scottish pop and soul band Wet Wet Wet. Famous in 1994 for fending off all comers to the the number one spot in the UK singles charts for a lengthy 15 weeks with single Love is All Around. Wet Wet Wet continues to endure as a hugely popular touring band and and summer festival headline act, touring extensively in 2026, and with a tour celebrating the 40th Anniversary of debut album ‘Popped In Souled Out’ already booked for 2027.

Less well known is Graeme’s history in jazz and blues culminating in the recording and production of his solo instrumental album, Spain in 2020. Described by music journalist, Tom Morton, as ‘full of passion, contrast, colour and spectacular, always changing vistas; shifting perspectives and the exuberant pleasure of being alive. Most of all it’s full of love.” Graeme’s musical journey has led him through many musical landscapes including folk, pop, rock, country and jazz. What matters to Graeme in any musical genre (apart from melody, harmony and rhythm, of course!) is a song’s ability to communicate straight to the heart.

In 2000 Graeme, having suffered from a severe stammer since childhood, embarked on an intensive speech recovery journey via the McGuire Program. A life changing event that has now enabled him to speak publicly and freely at 4 weddings and several funerals!
